सोमवार को मुंबई के फोर्ट में स्थित सीबीआई की आर्थिक अपराध शाखा के दफ्तर के बाहर तमाम नागरिकों, संगठनों और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने मानवाधिकार कार्यकर्त्री तीस्ता सेतलवाड़ के समर्थन में एकजुटता दिखाई।

सीबीआई दफ्तर में पिछले तीन दिनों से तीस्ता को केंद्र सरकार के इशारे पर प्रताड़ित करने के क्रम में ही पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया जा रहा है।

मुंबई विशेष सीबीआई कोर्ट में तीस्ता की अग्रिम ज़मानत याचिका के बाद ही सीबीआई ने भी तीस्ता को पूछताछ का सम्मन जारी कर दिया और रविवार के अलावा ईद के दिन भी तीस्ता सेतलवाड़ और जावेद आनंद को दफ्तर में कई घंटे बिठा कर पूछताछ की। ईद औररविवार के दिन के बाद सोमवार को भी तमाम साथियों और नागरिकों ने तीस्ता और जावेद के साथ एकजुटता दिखाई और बड़ी संख्या में सीबीआई कार्यालय के बाहर इकट्ठे हुए। मंगलवार को सुबह तीस्ता और जावेद की अग्रिम ज़मानत की सुनवाई मुंबई में ही सीबीआई अदालत में होगी। सीबीआई दफ्तर के बाहर से ताज़ा तस्वीरें….

They came to show solidarity with Teesta Setalvad and Javed Anand outside CBI office in Mumbai

Teesta Setalvad and Javed Anand were granted interim bail at CBI Session court till the 21st of July. CBI then asked them to be at the CBI office between 3pm-5pm on the 18th, 19th and 20th.

On the first day ie on the 18th of July, several members of CPI (Communist Party of India), Documentary Film Maker Anand Patwardhan ,other activists and friends stood outside the  CBI office to show solidarity with the Activists. Teesta Setalvad and Javed Anand thanked all the people who had come to support them.

On Sunday another Progressive group DYFI reached CBI office in a big number to show support to Teesta Setalvad and Javed Anand. The couple met everyone again and expressed their gratitude for joining hands in fighting communal forces in the country.

On the third day ie on Monday, 2oth of July, some Muslim groups joined the members of Communist Parties to express solidarity.

On all three days different groups of people stood with banners saying “I am Teesta” “Hum Teesta Hain”, “CBI Focus on Vyapam”, “CBI investigate real cases
