Imagine voting for a power-crazed megalomaniac who has disowned his own wife and family in his insatiable lust for power.

Imagine voting for a self-obsessed narcissist who is completely alien to the concept of selfless love and has no respect for women.

Imagine voting for a demagogue who prides himself at his insincere wordplay, yet does not value the meaning of his own words.

Imagine voting for an illusionist whose politics is entirely based on fraudulent lies and twisted half-truths.

As a woman, as a wife and as a mother of two wonderful children, I have faced the evil might and vindictive retribution of the establishment headed by Narendra Modi. I have faced repeated threats, have endured disgraceful behavior, have lived through brutal retribution and have survived malicious hostility towards my family members.

This power-crazed megalomaniac can go to any extent, including eliminating inconvenient opponents, for his own gain and political advancement. I have lived and continue to live through these scary yet very real possibilities. I know what it means to be the wife of a courageous officer who has chosen to take on the might of the entire establishment.

I would not want any woman to go through the ordeal through which I have passed. Women constitute nearly 50% of the voters in this country. When we vote we choose not only for our own selves but also for our children, our family members and our loved ones. A monster like Narendra Modi can never be the right choice for heading the Government of a country like India. Our future is in our hands.

I hereby appeal to all the right-thinking people and especially the women of this country to see through the media hype and artful propaganda of this faker. I exhort all the women voters to listen to their hearts and vote wisely for a better tomorrow for themselves and their families.
