Please don’t pass around information which discloses her identity directly or indirectly, and call this out to people when you see such information circulating. This cannot not be about us — she must be in as much control of her story as possible.

प्रायश्चित्त से पहले सज़ा का हक़ बनता है किसी भी अपराधी पर । ये अंगुलीमाल डाकू की कहानी नहीं है संपादक इन चीफ़ साहब । छह महीने के कल्पवास की जगह सात साल का कारावास हो । हम भीड़ बनकर फ़ैसला नहीं दे रहे, दिमाग़ लगाकर सवाल कर रहे हैं कि आपने खुद को पुलिस के हवाले क्यों नहीं किया , अगर प्रायश्चित्त का इतना ही भूत सवार हो गया है तो । सब समझ रहे हैं । ये कोई चलताऊ या किसी मक़सद से लगाए आरोप नहीं है जिसकी जाँच कमेटी करेगी । जब सज़ा भी खुद तय करनी थी तो ग़लती मानी क्यों । कमेटी बनवाते न । अपना पक्ष वहाँ रखते ।
